Die Hard is my favorite movie of all time. Why? Because it is the definitive action movie. When the rooftop explosion occurs, I’m pretty sure action movie angels sang in heaven. The movie left its mark on me, and I’ll never forget my awe after seeing this Christmas flick. The movie is the pinnacle of action movies; it mixed together the perfect villain, a sarcastic yet vulnerable hero, and ridiculous balls-to-the-walls action. After my first viewing of this classic, I sat in front of the TV with complete satisfaction. For me and action movies, everything is compared to the original Die Hard; John McClane sure knows how to bring it good.

I agree - Die Hard is the best action movie ever. While it’s not my most memorable movie experience ever, it was one of those movies that after I had watched it, I wondered why I had never seen it before. I believe this movie set the stage for Alan Rickman to play Professor Snape, another one of the most perfect villainous characters of all time. Plus, it made Bruce Willis one of the most awesome badasses of all time.
