Looks like the trailer for the long-rumored movie based on the “Bringing Down the House” by Ben Mezrich is finally online. It seems to be very loosely based on the book. And, by that, I mean that it borrows the story line of an MIT blackjack team and counting cards in Vegas. Even so, it looks fun in a “The Perfect Score” meets “Oceans Eleven” kind of way. The movie will also be starring Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne, and Kate Bosworth and is slated for release in March 2008.

In the meantime, I highly suggest reading “Bringing Down the Houses.” It’s really quite good.
