It seems that the blogosphere is abuzz with the release of the “Teeth” trailer.
Don’t be too scared off by the trailer, word on the street is that the movie is way more comedic than it is scary. Though, I’m not sure how vagina dentata can ever be anything but scary. Speaking as a guy, we know that its just an old wive’s tale but there’s always that fear in the back of our minds… all it takes is a movie like this to make all the nightmares surface. Also, apparently some enterprising business people seem to have taken the vagina dentata myth a little more seriously than others, check this little contraption out. I think its existence ought to be enough to lower the crime rate throughout the world.
The movie, “Teeth,” is a comedy/horror which was first screened at Sundance this January and who some believe is the next great cult classic. The lead actress, Jess Weixler, won the Sundance Special Jury Prize for Acting. Us less privileged movie goers will be able to catch “Teeth” in theaters in February 2008.
