Haven’t upgraded to HD-DVD yet? Amazon is also selling the Toshiba HD-A35 HD-DVD Player for a special price today. There are 500 units at $149 for those who participated in the Customers Vote promotion. But, they are discounting the player to $349 for everyone else as well. While the voting period for the HD-DVD player is over, you can still vote for the a 46″ LCD from Samsung for just $719. So, make sure to check it out.

• For those of you who might buy a Toshiba HD-DVD player, they’ll give you 5 free HD-DVDs! (promotion lasts until 2/28/08)
• Best Buy seems to have already begun a 2-day 50% firesale on DVDs with over 230 titles. (Prices from $4.49 - $12.99)
• Buy.com is running a 6-day Thanksgiving special with some terrific deals. Follow the link for a listing of all the deals. It’s not well organized, but there are a bunch of DVDs going for under $10.
• Best Buy is out doing Staples in this one. The RCA HD Upconverting Player is just $29.99 if you buy online. And, it’s not a refurb… though the model numbers aren’t the same.
• Staples is offering a refurbished RCA HD Upconverting DVD Player for just $49.99. Not quite HD, but it might make that DVD collection of yours look better.
