Heres one that’s been out for quite some time. I just noticed that its playing at a community/second-run theater near my house back home. (Though, still in the 42nd St. AMC here in New York.) And, if your second-run theaters are anything like the ones near me, this could be a weekend bargain!
The movie looks hilarious in a odd, awkward sort of way. And, it stars Ryan Gosling who I think is one of the best young actors out thee. Add in that he’s playing a guy who strikes up an unconventional relationship with a sex doll and it sure sounds like just a winner to me.
On a side note, did you know that such dolls actually exist?! Apparently, the movie’s popularity has crippled the Real Doll website [not work safe] and also lead to a real order backlog. Wait time for some products is 3 weeks! Yeesh. $10 for the movie or $10,000 for your own doll?
